We’re on the lookout for a skilled Service Technician to join our team at Gaffney Machinery in Longford. If you thrive on variety, problem-solving, and working with top-tier agricultural equipment like New Holland tractors and headers, this is the role for you!

From workshop servicing and repairs to pre-deliveries and on-site breakdowns, no two days are the same. You’ll be the engine behind our operation, keeping machines moving and farmers farming.

What you’ll be doing:

• Servicing, repairing and pre-delivering industry-leading agricultural machinery.
• Diagnosing and fixing a wide range of equipment with accuracy and efficiency.
• Mentoring and motivating apprentices – sharing your knowledge and building a strong team culture.
• Taking part in on-site jobs and after-hours callouts.

About You:

• Hold a heavy vehicle diesel mechanic/technician trade qualification, or willingness to acquire.
• Current forklift license preferred.
• Possess a current driver’s license.
• Strong fault-finding and repair skills with a mechanically minded approach.
• Excellent work ethic and a commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
• Well-presented and customer-focused.
