Gaffney Machinery in Longford is looking for an experienced Parts Interpreter to join our team.

This is a fast-paced, customer-focused role where your organisation, problem-solving skills, and product knowledge will directly support technicians, customers, and farmers every day.

From sourcing and supplying the right parts through to keeping jobs moving in the workshop and field, you’ll be at the centre of the action in a team that values accuracy, speed, and great service.

The Opportunity:

• Liaising with customers to assess their needs, then recommend and sell them the appropriate parts
• Provide advice regarding parts specifications to customers
• Source and order parts as well as generate quotes and invoices
• Maintain a clean and presentable parts department, including showroom, entrance, parts receival and storage areas
• Maintain inventory in line with the business and customer needs, including seasonal demands

About You:

• Previous experience in a similar position
• Attention to detail is second nature to you, and you excel at communicating effectively with colleagues and customers
• Problem-solving is your forte, and you enjoy the challenge of identifying and interpreting parts for customers
• Current forklift licence ticket or willing to obtain
• You’re eager to contribute to a dynamic team and are committed to delivering top-notch service in the agricultural machinery industry
