The Marketing Assistant will support and work under the guidance of the Marketing Manager. If you have a flair for creativity and ready to kick start your career in marketing, we want to hear from you.

About the role

  • Assist the Marketing Manager to developing all marketing and advertising strategies using social media platforms, EDMs channels, and other communications tools.
  • Coordinate marketing activities, including the design of marketing material for online and print campaigns.
  • Sourcing, writing, creating, scheduling, and managing content for social media and EDMs.
  • Moderate activity and conversations on social media platforms to best represent the brand.
  • Conducting research into customer trends and behaviours and reporting to management on social media platforms and EDMs activities.
  • Reconciliation of farming equipment across several online platforms.
  • Assist in updating the company website as required.
  • Assist in coordinating community events, sponsorships, and fundraisers.
  • Source promotional materials to increase brand exposure.
  • Adheres to expense budget control requirements.
  • Other duties as required

About you

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship skills.
  • Self-Motivated with an excellent can-do attitude and collaborative approach
  • Fast learner with an ability to adapt techniques based on requirements.
  • An open mindset and will seek out feedback to refine and develop their skills.
  • Capacity to take initiative, meet projected deadlines and work under frequently changing priorities
  • Creative, Energetic and Proactive
  • The ability to problem-solve
  • Sound understanding of digital marketing platforms.
  • Adobe Creative Cloud Knowledge would be an advantage.
  • Canva Platform Knowledge including Video Editing is a bonus but not a must.
  • Knowledge of CRM software desirable
