The AirFLEX has evolved into a tougher and more resilient machine all while maintaining its simple design and providing the closest cut imaginable. With improvements that enhance performance and reliability, the NXT focuses on the future of farming.
An all-crop solution for the Australian farmer
The AirFLEX NXT is truly an all-crop machine built for maximum efficiency. The switch from flex to rigid mode is made from the cab of your header, at the push of a button. While cutting in flex mode, utilize the NXT’s hydraulic Cab-Adjustable Skid Shoes to maintain a consistent stubble height. With table sizes up to an impressive 60 ft, the AirFLEX NXT is tailor-made for Australian farmers who want to cover more ground in less time.
Floating on air
True to its name, the AirFLEX boasts a unique flex system which utilizes airbags and an onboard air compressor to create a front that is light, fast reacting and can contour to undulating land to get under all crop. The cutterbar is independently-suspended from the subframe and has unlimited flex points across its width meaning it conforms to your land to get the closest cut imaginable.
Centrally driven mechanical drive
The powerful mechanical drive on the NXT is centrally located, keeping the bulk of the weight in the middle of the front, and not on the ends which promotes better flotation and increases front responsiveness to the ground. This straightforward and lightweight design provides consistent power to avoid surging and alleviates the rocking and bouncing that is common with heavier systems.
Narrow end shields
At just 5”, the narrow profile end shields and crop dividers on the NXT reduce flattening of the crop and enhances maneuverability along field borders and through crop rows.
Large feeding capacity
The large 12″ cross auger works to gather and move even the bulkiest, bushiest, and most tangled material evenly into the feederhouse, reducing blockages and maintaining a consistent flow. Paired with the infinitely adjustable cam reel, the system allows operators to fine-tune reel speed and positioning to match varying crop conditions, ensuring smooth, efficient feeding and minimal crop loss.
