Congratulations Zac Payseno
We are thrilled to announce that Zac Payseno from McPhersons Parts and Service has been named the 2024 AEH Apprentice of the Year!

Each AEH branch was invited to nominate an apprentice, considering factors such as work ethic, teamwork, attendance, alignment with AEH values, and career progression. Zac, a second-year apprentice at our Parkes branch, has truly excelled in all these areas.
Over the past year, Zac has demonstrated an incredible eagerness to learn and grow his skill set. He has willingly stepped up to take on additional responsibilities, especially during a challenging harvest season. Zac has confidently tackled header checks and repairs with minimal guidance, proving his capability and initiative. His paperwork is always completed on time, neat, and accurate. Furthermore, Zac consistently embodies the values of teamwork and helpfulness, contributing to the positive culture at McPhersons. His commitment to safety and quality standards is unwavering.
Zac’s dedication has also been recognized by his TAFE instructors. One of his mentors shared:
“Zac has been an exceptional student throughout his studies, consistently excelling in both theoretical knowledge and practical application. His work ethic, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities set him apart from his peers. Zac’s maturity, professionalism, and willingness to take on challenges make him a standout apprentice. He’s not only reliable and punctual but also deeply passionate about agricultural mechanics, always striving to grow and contribute meaningfully to the industry.”
Zac’s adaptability and willingness to embrace new challenges have been particularly impressive. This year, he stepped up during a staff shortage, refining his skills and quickly learning new techniques essential for his role. His proactive approach, can-do attitude, and eagerness to take on feedback have made him an invaluable member of the McPhersons and AEH team.
We couldn’t be prouder of Zac’s achievements, and we’re confident he has a bright future ahead! We can’t wait to watch him grow in his third year and beyond.
